Here are a few sneak peaks of just one of our new paper collections. Feel free to drop us a line to let us know what you think or if you have any special requests. we love input and gladly accept constructive criticism too.
We have at least 20 different papers in this collection alone. We have collections for Christmas, Summer, Beach, Winter, Birthday, Cupcakes, Jewish, Gingham, Specific Colors Pallettes, Good Times, etc.
We're looking into getting them printed and maybe some time soon we can send out samples of our paper!
Keep watching!
It's Been A While (to say the least)!
Well, here I am sittig in front of my computer thinking, gheez, I haven't posted on the blog for a while. I'd say! It's been over two years! When I started this blog I had full intentions of posting all the time and having cool things like tutorials, freebies, photos of our work, guest posts, "Marvelous Monday", "Tuesday Tutorials", etc. I swear I did. I'll try to do better, I promise.
I see we've had 42 views of our blog and we have 2 followers (which I think are the same person, lol). We're going to try to post at least once a week from here on out. If we don't, how about a little nudge to keep us going? Feel free to send an email any time.
My daughter and I are in the process of trying to find a local good, cheap (but not cheap quality) full-bleed printing company. We have been designing our own scrapbook paper and are going to sell it as digital collections but would LOVE to have actual product to sell.
We have several collections that we feel are unique and beautiful. We've thought about having a crop and introducing our lines to see what people think of them. We have a cute name and logo for our paper collections and will be formally announcing it some time in the near future. I'll be posting a few sneak previews soon.
If you have any ideas or requests for paper collections or designs, feel free to let us know. We'd appreciate input and would love to do custom work!
Okay, enough for now. I promise I'll be back again a lot sooner than 2 years!
Keep watching for our announcement!

Card Swap Cards
I am a member of a few Cricut groups and recently decided to be part of a card swap. We had to create two different cards and make six of each of each of them. I made a "celebration" card and a "thank you" card. They're just plain, nothing fancy at all but they're from my first card swap through the mail and I wanted to share them. I can't wait to see what everyone made...I hear they're in the mail!
(I made this card using the Once Upon A Princess cart for the balloons and the Wild Card for the words. I used Bazzill cardstock for the card base, layers, balloons and words. Even though it's hard to see in the photo, I used StarDust Stickles for the glitz on all of the words. I used a basic corner rounder on the corners.)
(I made this card using the Walk In My Garden cart for the flower pot and flowers. I used Bazzill regular cardstock for the card base, the blue background and the green stems and leaves. I used Bazzill Bling for the pink tulips. I found some old DCWV paper that looks like terracotta so it was perfect for the flower pot. I used double-sided foam tape to pop the "rim" of the flower pot up. I used May Arts ribbon. I printed the "Thanks A Bunch!" on my printer before cutting the blue background. I used an EK Success Concave Punch for the corners. Some people call it a "ticket" punch, but either way it's a very hard punch to find.)
I hope you like my cards. You can leave a comment if you'd like. Thanks, Ruthie :o)

Doodilee Boop
This blog was started way back in 2008 but we've been a little intimidated by all the fantastic crafting blogs and we've kind of been a little scared to post. Well, we finally got brave and decided to just jump in and do our best...so here we go (again).
You're probably wondering how we came up with our name. Well, see that cute little guy up there in the photo? His name is Buster and he has many nicknames and one of them is Doodilee Boop! He is adorable, fun and unique with a silly playful attitude, just like our small home-based business and the items we sell.
We create unique, beautiful, handmade special occasion cards, scrapbook layout pages, scrapbook albums, recipe books, card keepers, bags with tags and cards along with many other handmade crafts and odds & ends!
We now even have a Copic Markers Certified Designer on our staff! So, watch for stamping projects and other beautiful creations made with Copic Markers.
We're new to blogging and are going to try to show you something new that we've made at least once a week. Since we've just started our blog and website we ask that you please be patient with us as we try to get the hang of it.
We think you'll like what we do and we can't wait to get our site finished so you can see our creations! If you have something you'd like to tell us or a special request please feel free to email us at DoodileeBoop@gmail.com.
We hope you won't be disappointed with DoodileeBoop, but please remember, we're just starting out and we hope you will give us a chance to prove ourselves and earn your respect. We do ask though that you please be respectful of others. Constructive criticism is a good thing but if it is your intention to post mean or hateful comments, this isn't the place for that, please go elsewhere. We will not tolerate vulgar, abusive, mean, nasty or racist remarks, period. I once saw a bumper sticker that I really liked - “Mean people suck.” Please don't be mean.
Thanks for stopping by and have a craft-tastic day! We hope you enjoyed your visit and will come back soon to see our updates.

Here are My Top 10 Needs. What are yours?
Hello, this is our first blog. We've read many, many blogs but never had one of our own. We don't know exactly how to start here but we thought we'd start by telling you one thing about Ruthie, the owner of DoodileeBoop. She is an avid Googler. She Googles phone numbers, names, recipes, maps, websites, etc. You name it, she's probably Googled it! Sometimes when her grandson is over and he's bored they'll just Google one word, whatever word pops into their heads. They take turns coming up with the word. You'd be surprised what you'll get by doing this. A little bit ago while Googling and we ran across a blog that had this cute little game to play. So, we thought we'd "break the ice" on our blog with the game.
Here's how you play the game. You Google your first name + needs. We put in "Ruthie + needs" into the Google search line and a few of the results were right on with her needs! lol Here are our top 10 results:
1. Ruthie needs money!!!
2. Ruthie needs your help. Yep it's school fundraising time.
3. Ruthie needs prayers.
4. Ruthie needs to mature a bit and lose the chip on her shoulder. (Referring to Ruthie on 7th Heaven)
5. Ruthie needs a private flight to get her to the National Jewish Hospital.
6. Ruthie needs our prayers.
7. Dr. Ruthie needs a man.
8. Ruthie needs supervision.
9. Ruthie needs sleep.
10. Ruthie needs a drink.
That was fun, wasn't it? What did you come up with? We just made a new twist on the game. We thought, hmmm, what else could we try this way? Then we thought what goes with "Needs"? And instantly we thought - "Wants". We know what we need but what we want is a whole different thing. We decided to Google "Ruthie + wants". That search had even funnier results. Here they are:
1. Ruthie wants to be with Martin.
2. Ruthie wants a sister but she comes to appreciate her 6 brothers. (This is too funny - I would love a sister, I have 3 brothers. But it's a little late in life to even hope for a sister now!)
3. Whatever Ruthie wants, Ruthie gets. (If only that were true!)
4. Ruthie wants to be Superman.
5. Ruthie wants to play with fire engines.
6. Ruthie wants to be the new poster girl for hate & intolerance.
7. Ruthie wants to continue serving her community as County Commissioner for District 4, Seat A.
8. If Ruthie wants to read about law she reads The Times.
9. Ruthie wants to hang with the guys, because "girls are too petty."
10. Ruthie wants a life and lots of sex. (This one is hilarious - I think it's referring to Dr. Ruth)
How did your search go? Were your "Wants" funnier than your "Needs"? We think that has sufficiently "broken the ice" for the DoodileeBoop blog.
Okay, now it's time to explain about DoodileeBoop. DoodileeBoop is the name of our new home-based business. We sell all kinds of kits (card making, mini albums, word books, etc.), scrapbook layouts, unique projects and some scrapbooking products.
We enjoy doing crafty things and we make a lot of cards. We teach beginning scrapbooking and we design and make kits and teach how to make handmade cards, scrapbook layout pages, mini albums, specialty items and a whole lot of other creative projects. We decided to do a blog on some of the things we've designed and share our ideas and techniques.
We've got a lot of ideas going through our heads right now. We're thinking maybe it would be fun to have a weekly or monthly technique and a contest using that technique. (Of course, if it's a contest there will be a prize too!)
We're thinking about doing a “my opinion type” review of products and maybe even doing a project using that product (if it's a product that we own). This is all new to us right now but as it goes along we're sure it will get easier and things will sort of fall into place. If you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to let us know.
Thanks for stopping by and have a craft-tastic day!
